Oil spills over marine ecosystems have been a complex problem for decades. Now it can be easily solved by means of the INTERBLOCK Oil And Water Separation Unit. Its core is a steam generator that heats oil-in-water emulsion with hot steam. This creates conditions for further separation of oil from water inside special filters which also perform as an integral part of the Unit. Its power is sufficient to treat polluted water as well as ice, having preliminarily melted it within the same 20' container of standard design installed on board or on shore. The cost of oil collected from water or ice is 2.5 times lower compared to regular oil production on the continent.
